PAPILLON DE NUIT – “Musetta”

Shadows and Beauty
PAPILLON DE NUIT
“Musetta”
Album (self-produced)
Hailing from York, England, Papillon de Nuit began as a solo project by singer-songwriter Stephen Kennedy and has now evolved into a multifaceted collective that blends gothic, ambient, and neoclassical darkness. “Musetta” is a debut album that is less to be listened to than to be journeyed through: an atmospheric path through shadows, memory, and transience. Amid delicate piano, melancholic cello, and dramatic soundscapes, songs emerge that are filled with inner turmoil and quiet grandeur. Kennedy presents a debut that has the courage not to explain darkness—but to make it tangible.
