POPPY: Surprising variety

Anyone who equates Poppy with Pop doesn’t know the artist. Although her new album “Zig” is much poppier than usual, it is full of power. Poppy finds the word itself sexy: “Zig is what I would call an attractive word.” The title song was only written afterwards. The original idea was “an album that I can dance to. And that’s what ‘Zig’ turned out to be,” she explains in our winter issue, which will be released on November 22.
