★ When Amy Lee and Ben Moody formed the band at the age of just 14, the band names still up for debate included “Childish Intentions” or “Stricken”. However, they then opted for “transience”. Because that’s what Evanescence means.

★ Barri Gòtic in Barcelona served as the setting for the music video of “My Immortal”. Ben, with whom Amy had attended her prom night, or graduation, when she was in school, announced his exit a week after filming was completed. For Amy, in retrospect, the video seems like his goodbye.

★ But Amy! Why do you have such a red nose and watery eyes? The story of the video for “Call Me When You’re Sober” is based on the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood. However, Amy had an allergic reaction to the wolves, but finished the shoot as planned.
