With rousing rhythms, haunting melodies, thought-provoking lyrics and wonderfully danceable synth-wave sounds, Sea of Sin inspire with “The Shape of a Lonely Soul”. As usual, they manage to strike a balance between profound lyrics, which are shrouded in a gentle veil of melancholy, and club suitability. In addition, the vocals are always emotional and strong at the same time. The first track, “Faith”, takes you into the dark world of sound, which continues with “No Excuse” and is then broken up a little piece by piece until finally more and more hope shines through, which is discharged in the powerful “Neverending”.
