SKAPHOS – “The Descent”

Apocalyptic death metal
SKAPHOS
“The Descent“
Album (Les Acteurs de L’Ombre Productions)

Skaphos have dressed eight selected songs from their first two albums in a new, modern sound. The result – “The Descent”. A “descent”, of course, by no means in terms of sound, but in the sense that we slide down into apocalyptic abysses with the French quartet. – And linger there with pleasure. What we are presented with is as ugly as the world itself and should perhaps better remain hidden in the dark. Skaphos have sinister fun dragging these nightmarish creatures and scenarios into the light. Eight hard-hitting tracks will put you in a doomsday mood.
