SOTIRIA on depression and pain

Sotiria (formerly Eisblume) knows exactly what she is singing about in the melancholy track “Schwarzer Diamant”: “I know what it feels like to be trapped in a black hole and I still have to work on not letting negative thoughts drag me down. The new songs are the first time I’ve spoken openly about topics such as depression, suicide and pain. It wasn’t easy to make myself so vulnerable. But now it feels incredibly liberating.” The song is an atmospheric harbinger of Sotiria’s third album “Meine Liebe ist Gift”, in which she (again) takes a much darker path and collaborates with Alexander Wesselsky (Eisbrecher) and Peter Heppner, among others.
