SPIRITUAL FRONT – “The Queen Is Not Dead”

Suicide Pop meets The Smiths
SPIRITUAL FRONT
“The Queen Is Not Dead”
Album (Prophecy Productions)
Spiritual Front fans are already familiar withThe Smiths songs in a special way. After some pieces were brought to the stage and even to an Etruscan tomb, they are now also captured on CD and vinyl. 15 tracks offer a cross-section of the work of the British and show new facets in their adaptation with charming arrangements and vocals. For this engaging sound, a string sextet and horn player were on board, as well as some guests, such as Durga McBroom (Pink Floyd) or Sasha Boole (Me And That Man). ” The Queen Is Not Dead” convinces as an extremely successful homage that stands on its own sonorous legs.
