That’s how it was at BEASTO BLANCO

The beast is here!

The autumn fog fell on the extensive event site in the east of Munich and the Technikum hall filled up accordingly quickly. Because this is where the wild ones from Beasto Blanco wanted to put a furious end to the autumn blues.

As special guests of the American-Australian hard rockers The Dead Daisies, the combo around Calico Cooper – daughter of Alice Cooper – made a stop in Munich in the fall. Dressed in outfits that would fit perfectly into the “Mad Max” universe, the five Americans entered the stage to the intro “Il Nostro Spirito” and then kicked off with “Run for Your Life”, the opening hit from the new album “Kinetica”. A firework display of hits from the band’s history followed over the next 45 minutes and the white beasts also performed their version of “Feed My Frankenstein”, a cover of the Alice Cooper classic. The band’s enthusiasm spilled over into the audience, which in turn made the band’s dervish, guitarist and second singer Chuck Garric, visibly enthusiastic and encouraged him to make faces or twirl his guitar around wildly.

The hard rockers’ raw and brute performance also included the use of impressive lighting effects, for example in the form of an oversized laser pointer, which singer Calico used to illuminate the otherwise completely dark hall and briefly make everything look like the set of a sci-fi thriller. After ten songs, during which the fans got their money’s worth and repeatedly responded to Chuck Garric’s call to shout along to the catchier anthems, Beasto Blanco took their leave into the night. Their mission to warm up the crowd for the following The Dead Daisies had been fully accomplished.
