That’s how it was at ELECTROMANIAX: A Night with ROTERSAND & FROZEN PLASMA

Anyone expecting a typical music festival with Rotersand, Frozen Plasma and Rotoskop as support, who played their sets one after the other, was – no, not disappointed – but surprised in a very special way. In Hamburg’s packed Markthalle, they met real friends with a great love of electronic music on stage. Just on Electromaniax!

At the successful premiere in Oberhausen in September 2023, it was already clear to everyone that this unique experiment, the interlocking of two musical greats of the synth and electro-pop and EBM scene with mutual duets, mash-ups and reciprocal guest appearances, must not end like this. This party simply had to go on. And that’s exactly what she did at the final concert in Hamburg. And how! It was a very loooong, huge party that you simply have to experience!

Rotoskop kicked things off with his melodic, but also dark synth pop that doesn’t fit into any category, to which he also picked up the bass or guitar from time to time.

After a short changeover break, Rotersand and Frozen Plasma entered the stage together and immediately started with “Electronic World Transmission” with great intensity and speed. – Performed as a duet by Rascal (Rotersand) and Felix (Frozen Plasma). That was the first big “WOW!” moment and created a euphoric atmosphere and an exuberant dancing mood in the audience right from the start. This dancing mood was infectious and increased for the next almost three (!) hours. Without a break and hardly able to catch their breath, the two played solo or together in constant alternation and not only brought the Hamburg Markthalle to the boil, they literally set it alight. It was a perfect symbiosis of two bands that really inspired. I can’t remember dancing for so long at a concert and being so soaking wet and sweaty as I was at the Electromaniax concert!
