THE AWAKENING: Longing for closeness?

The South African gothic dark wave formation around Ashton Nyte now lives in the USA and was founded in the nineties. With “Through the Veil”, The Awakening presents a video for the 3-track EP of the recently released album of the same name. Mastermind Ashton explains: “‘Through the Veil’ tells the story of someone who has left this world but still wants to be close to the one they love. I think it’s beautifully romantic and relatable in any situation where we are separated from the person we want to be close to.”
