THE CASSANDRA COMPLEX about sad necessities

The Cassandra Complex were founded at the beginning of the 1980s in Leeds, UK. Mastermind Rodney Orpheus now lives in California. The Finnish artist Suzi Sabotage released the song “Nazi Goths Fuck Off” in 2021. In 2024, Rodney revisited the song for her remix album. Shortly before the 2024 US election, The Cassandra Complex toured the United States and decided: “Let’s just play it as a cover version!” People loved it and it became a highlight of our live set,” Rodney recalls. He explains why this is necessary in our March/April issue.
