THE CURE: Mint, I’m in love?

At least that’s how Robert Smith seemed to feel when he mentioned in several interviews that he preferred “Mint Car” to THE CURE hit “Friday, I’m in Love”. Well, there’s no accounting for taste after all. At least “Mint Car” is a real feel-good song. Of course, Robert doesn’t miss the opportunity to cry theatrically in the music video at the end. Image comes first. Robert’s favorite was released 29 years ago to the day on June 17, 1996 and reached number 3 in Iceland, 17 in Canada, 20 in Finland and 31 in Great Britain.
