THE HARDKISS: Alternative Meets Pop Rock
On their new album, “Grey Hound,” The Hardkiss deliberately sought to “maintain the balance between ‘Hard’ and ‘Kiss,’” explains frontwoman Julia Sanina, adding: “Musically, this is probably our hardest album. At the same time, we’ve retained the cinematic and dramatic melodies. Music helps people process and get through the phases we’re all currently going through.” The album also features a collaboration with the British rock band The Hara. The collaboration began unexpectedly on Instagram after Sanina publicly praised the band’s online videos. This quickly developed into a creative exchange that led to one of the album’s most explosive songs.
