THE RESURRECTION CLUB: Post-punk meets the eighties

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

The history of The Resurrection Club goes back a long way: from 1979 to 1983, Morris, Martin and Mike were members of the Scottish band The Plastic Flies, who even supported The Clash. Then came the break. – Almost 40 years later, Martin and Morris reunited to form The Resurrection Club, who will also be delighting us with their new album “Survival” in the upcoming May/June issue. “Resurrection” stands for new beginning, “Club” for community. Martin explains: “We didn’t just want to revive the old band, we wanted to bring back our creative expression.” Musically, The Resurrection Club are somewhat reminiscent of the Pet Shop Boys of the 1980s, mixing this sound with post-punk elements and modern soundscapes.
