USERS: Between Punk and Post-Punk

USERS was formed in Copenhagen in 2023 and combines aggressive post-punk with explicitly political and socially critical lyrics. The band sees itself not only as a music project but also as an activist collective. Their first performances took place at demonstrations and political events. With their debut album “Welcome to Civilisation,” USERS make it clear exactly where they’re headed. The Danish band explains their name as follows: “We are all users of this life-destroying drug called capitalism.” The release date was deliberately set for May 1, International Workers’ Day, as a sign of solidarity.
