Whiteabbey deliver a blatant crossover in “Trilogy II: Sweet Revenge”. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” meets “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, wrapped up in wonderful symphonic metal, which is characterized by awesome guitar solos and, above all, Tamara Bouwhuis’ strong voice. At the beginning of each track, a diabolically spoken introduction provides thematic clarity. The EP gets off to an epic start with “Master Plan”. In “Pure Extermination”, Tamara shows off her wide vocal range and is particularly seductive. A wonderfully evil laugh can be found in “Just Desserts”, in which the themed revenge is served up ice cold with relish.
