20 years ago: Profile with VNV NATION

20 years ago we asked Ronan Harris (VNV NATION) the very personal questions of our “profile”. Read in part six what he would overdraw his account for and what makes him blush. Maybe already the first question?
What do you like most about sex?
Having someone with you is nice. Most of it takes place in the head, so a good mental connection and the feeling of being able to trust each other are essential for me. Without that, it’s an empty experience (but as such, one of the best).
What would you overdraw your account for?
Provided that would mean I would be satisfied and never have to worry about anything ever again, I would overdraw my account immediately. For whom? For my family and my best friends. Otherwise for no one.
When was the last time you were embarrassed or blushed?
I rarely blush, but I do get embarrassed. It may be hard to believe, but I can be very shy at times. The last time I blushed was at a concert. I was standing at the front of the stage between two songs when a girl from the audience came up to me and wanted to tell me something. I leaned toward her, and instead of saying it out loud, she whispered it in my ear. I won’t reveal here what it was, but I immediately turned bright red. It embarrasses me in a pleasant way when people tell me what my music means to them or how it touches them. I feel it is a great honor, but often do not know how to react.
What have you always wanted to do but never dared?
Approach a girl I really like without having to consume alcohol first. Jumping out of a plane.
