AUGER: Dark rock with synth interludes

In a scene where the big icons are slowly getting much older, fresh, innovative blood does us good. This comes in the form of Auger. Although the band was founded in 2017 by Kyle Blaqk, the artists behind it are between 19 and 29 years old. However, this does not equate to a lack of life experience, as Auger ‘s lyrics are incredibly deep, especially on the new album “The Old Arcade”. Musically, they blend touching lyrics with dark rock and dance-friendly synth elements to create a sound collage that remains indescribable and that is precisely why it is so special. For mastermind Kyle Blaqk, “The Old Arcade” is his most honest and personal release to date. You will find out more shortly.
