DAYS OF SORROW: Timeless post-punk

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

Days of Sorrow was founded in Dortmund in 1981. The band released their first 12” EP “Remembering the Days” in 1984, which included the songs “Wild World”, “War” and “Don’t Leave Me Drowning”. In 1987, the second 12” EP was recorded with a different line-up. And then the band broke up. The post-punk band was quiet for a long time, but they were never forgotten. And so the two founding members William Lennox and André Schreiber reactivated Days of Sorrow at the end of 2010, performed live and released new songs. Now Days of Sor row are taking us on a journey back in time to the eighties. With their recently released new album “Raptures”, however, they do not remain rigidly stuck in the past, but bring the essence of their music into the present. They themselves describe it as “Our second album of the new era about our journey, music and feelings. A personal adventure.” With “Raptures”, Days of Sorrow show what timeless post-punk sounds like!
