How the SUMMER BREEZE 2024 was 1/4

The festival season and the summer were slowly coming to an end, but first there was the final highlight for every metal fan: the Summer Breeze. As usual, 45,000 fans gathered on the third weekend in August to listen to their favorite bands and enjoy a cold drink or two.
This was sorely needed, because apart from a small shower on Wednesday evening, the actual day of arrival, it was the last natural cooling off. Fittingly, there was this shower shortly before Equilibrium‘s performance, so that there was plenty of energy available again while the Main Stage was heated up. After Flogging Molly ‘s rousing performance, Meshuggah and especially Lord of the Lost didn’t hesitate to hit the pyro button like madmen, thus already showing the banner under which the festival was to stand this year: Heat. On this day, it was also revealed who was hiding behind the “secret act”. None other than HammerFall impressed with a minimalist show and did so for the second year in a row.
The next part continues with Blind Channel, Behemoth, Architects, Dark Tranquillity and many more.
