Rain Diary released their first album “The Lights Are Violent Here” in 2013. The Finnish band describes their music as “Winter Wave”. A kind of emotional synth rock. For singer Joonas Verho, “Night Church” is the first album in which he was fully involved. “It took us a little while to find our own sound and a balance in how we develop ideas and collaborate with Joni, with whom we produce and record the vocals.” Joni explains the concept: “Night Church” “stands for everything that happens outside the ‘normal’ everyday life from 9:00-17:00.
