Gently but intensely, the first notes of “Sargo” lead into an extraordinary soundscape that unfolds engagingly over the twenty-minute playing time and was created by Sleep Research Facility for this split release. The imposing world of the oceans is processed in a special way in the following three tracks by Llyn Y Cwn: Field recordings, in “Doppler Current Profiler” for example from an active sonar, shape the character of these fascinating sound spaces. With impressively spread out moods, “Sargo / Posidonia” invites the conscious and subconscious to drift on waves and dig deep.
