That’s how it was at DOGMA

Munich, April 22, 2026 – Sinfully good – between holy mass and ecstasy
It was already clear in the fall of 2025 that Dogma were hitting the nerve of the times: All tickets were sold out just a few days after they went on sale. The 2026 spring tour was completely sold out, although the capacity was even expanded in some cases with venue upgrades. When the line between blasphemous ritual and top-class metal show becomes blurred, Dogma have taken to the stage. As part of their four-date club tour through Germany, the five “nuns” made a stop at Munich’s Backstage on Wednesday evening and transformed the club into a cathedral of sin.
The intro already left no questions unanswered: The show kicked off with a pithy “Welcome to hell” before the opener “Forbidden Zone” almost reduced the hall to rubble. Dogma ‘s visual concept is as provocative as it is consistent: faces with white make-up, white contact lenses and deeply slit religious robes including a hood. But there is no trace of chastity here. The band plays lasciviously with the audience, flirts with the front rows and is not stingy with provocative posing.
The adrenaline level reached its first peak after just 10 minutes when bassist ‘Nixe’ climbed into the photo pit. At a distance of barely 30 centimeters, we photographers literally had to pull in our stomachs. It was a moment in which the chronicler was torn as to whether to pull out the camera or simply soak up the sheer energy of the attractive Argentinian. An adrenaline rush that finally dissolved the boundaries between the stage, the audience and the photographers. Coupled with a good pinch of sacred eroticism, sin and temptation, the performance quickly turned into a celebrated party, with the Munich audience surprisingly confident in singing along to the lyrics, which was further fueled by the charming communication of the singer – who spoke surprisingly good German.
Dogma proved in Munich that they are one of the most exciting new bands on the current scene, both visually and musically. It was an evening full of contrasts: hard and melodic, dark and rousing, provocative and wonderful, … the latter anyway!
