THE CITY GATES: Between post-punk and cold wave
SPONSORED POST

At the time of the Roman Empire, Londinium could only be entered through seven city gates. The band named themselves after these “City Gates”. The four Canadians have already shared the stage with bands such as The Chameleons, Actors, Selofan, Traitrs and Solar Fake. The City Gates ‘ third album will be released on May 15, 2026 and bears the name of the three-headed creature from Greek mythology: “Chimera”. The song “Capitol Hill” has already been released, with which they create “an ode to the dark post-punk of the 1980s”, as singer Maxime Wingender reports in our May/June issue.
