Mastermind Kyle Blaqk explains the title track of Auger’s recently released fifth album: “‘The Old Arcade’ is my most honest and personal release – an anthemic ballad about love, loss and letting go. Built from layered lyrics and soaring instrumentation, it tells a story that was never destined for a happy ending. From fragile beginnings to a powerful crescendo, every detail reflects a parting I couldn’t avoid and a truth I couldn’t change. ‘Even cowards are right two times a day Like weathered clocks Above the old arcade.’
