– Jonathan Davis is co-founder of the nu-metal band KoЯn, founded in 1993.
– From the first suggestion “Corn”, inspired by the movie “Children of the Corn”, “Korn” was chosen as the band name.
– Jonathan designed the logo himself: The upside-down “R” is a reference to the toy retailer Toys R Us, for which some of the band members had worked.
– As a teenager, he also worked as an embalmer for a funeral home.
– He didn’t get along with his stepmother. He called them sadistic and dreamed of “fucking and killing them”, as it says in his biography “Korn Life in the Pit” by Leah Furman. The song “Kill You” is dedicated to her.
