Dynamic, lovingly cerebral, confident, yearning, passionate and with a dose of refreshing madness, “Des Wahnsinns Methode” is a perfect debut that combines folky, even Victorian sounds with Hard Metal and literary themes of romance. Dennis’ charismatic voice is supported by Nina’s strong vocals, which adds to the harmonious whole. Maybe Nathanael’s quintet might remind you of Coppelius – the band’s name also alludes to E.T.A. Hoffmann’s “Der Sandmann”, without being confined by that – but creates its very own universe.
